This post is to extoll the wonders of my local area which is in the Puget Sound area of Washington. We have access to mountains, rivers, fishing, hiking, glaciers, and even an inlet of the Pacific Ocean called Puget Sound. Mount St Helens is to the south of where I live. There are numberous happenings throughout the year such as the Seafair Festival which besides the usual queen has pirates, several parades the largest being in Seattle and the week is capped by Hydroplane races at which every year “The Blue Angels” are featured in a air show
